• There are occasional circumstances where a brand wants other 3p sellers. Perhaps you have a large account that requires e-commerce in addition to their traditional brick-and-mortar commerce. Maybe you have a long-standing account who has always done right by you and as such you are reticent to remove their e-commerce privileges. Maybe you just aren’t ready to have your own Amazon.com professional selling account and want to keep things as they are but just need Amazon “cleaned up”.

• We typically recommend against 3P sellers in general, but we can properly help manage your account should you desire to operate your business in this way. We are 3P sellers ourselves. We purposefully maintain a high-level 3P selling account. We ALWAYS do the right thing, however, but this is rarely the case. We literally have inventory that is well over one year old that we have in stock (because we don’t discount beyond MAP requirements, ever) from manufacturers who have, for various reasons, moved away from the 3P model. Most 3P sellers don’t operate like us though, unfortunately. If every 3P seller was like us then Year 5 wouldn’t have to exist. It does, however, and is, quite simply, due to nefarious 3P sellers. By selling yourself you do not have the issues that come with 3P sellers doing what they shouldn’t - selling without permission or selling below MAP.

There are many ways to go about having your brand represented on Amazon. Right ways, and wrong ways. Every option, however, begins with you having your own professional seller account.
